Frequencies and Breaking Points

Pause for a moment and take a cursory look about.

You shall find that evidence abound, both new and old

Which prove beyond all reasonable doubt

That nature’s hand has set for every heart a peculiar threshold

Beyond which a hitherto ‘aye’ may become 'never'

And ties once unbroken may be severed forever.

A point where one gathers enough tally of the offence

And decides to stomach no further an ounce of nonsense.

A point where memories recede and disappear

As formality fills the eye and clog the ear.

A point where old vibes lose their familiar ring

And pierce us with a rather vicious sting.

Mark therefore the place where friendship and disrespect meet

For you may severally trespass it and once never be able to retreat.

Amity can be a brutal beast or a graceful horse

The difference depends on how we  decide to chart its course.
